Day 7: Phobjikha to Paro
Travel to Paro and visit Ta Dzong, a former watchtower that now houses the National Museum. Take some time to explore Paro town at your own pace, then check into your hotel, which combines traditional Bhutanese architecture with modern comforts. In the evening, visit Kaja Throm, a local farmer’s market, and enjoy dinner with your group.
Day 8: Hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery
Embark on a memorable hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest), perched 900 meters above the Paro Valley. Pass through pine forests and fluttering prayer flags as your leader shares the legend of this sacred site. Enjoy a lunch break at a teahouse with incredible views.
