After breakfast, we head to the domestic airport terminal for our flight to Bagdogra. Upon arrival, we embark on a picturesque drive to Gangtok. Leaving behind the plains, we journey into the Doar Hills, crossing the Teesta River at Sevoke. Following border formalities at Rangpo, we enter the enchanting realm of Sikkim and continue our drive to Gangtok, nestled at an elevation of 1,680m. The scenic journey takes approximately 5 hours (125km).

Day 3: En Route to Martam Village with a Stop at Rumtek Monastery (1,400 M)
Today, after a delightful breakfast, we have the pleasure of exploring Gangtok. With clear views of Kanchenjunga, we can stroll along the Mall Road or explore the bustling indoor vegetable market. Later, we embark on a scenic drive to Rumtek Monastery, a serene spot founded centuries ago and rebuilt by the 16th Karmapa. Our journey then continues to Martam, a picturesque Himalayan village in East Sikkim.

Our trek begins with a leisurely stroll through quaint villages and verdant fields. After a delightful 2-hour walk to Shepi village, we descend to the Gurdum Khola, crossing a bridge before ascending steeply to Gurdum village, our resting place for the night.

Day 8: Trekking to Chandu (3,570 M) via Sandakhphu (3,636 M)
Today, we embark on a challenging yet rewarding trek to the majestic Singalila Ridge, reaching the lofty Sandakhphu, the highest point of our journey. With panoramic views of Kanchenjunga, Everest, Lhotse, and Makalu, we trek to Chandu, where our campsite awaits.

Day 9: Trekking along the Singalila Ridge to Sabargam
Embarking on a scenic trek along the Singalila Ridge, we traverse the border between Nepal and India, relishing panoramic views of the Himalayas. As we camp at Sabargam, we're treated to a mesmerizing sunset and sunrise over the majestic peaks.

Day 10: Trekking to Phalut and Descending to Samaden
Today, we trek along an undulating trail to Phalut, savoring breathtaking views of Kanchenjunga and the Everest range. Descending to Samaden, we camp amidst enchanting forest landscapes, surrounded by nature's splendor.

Day 11: Trekking to Rimbik via Picturesque Settlements
Our final trek leads us through charming settlements inhabited by warm-hearted locals. Passing through terraced fields and quaint villages, we make our way to Rimbik, a serene Sherpa village nestled amidst the lush forest landscapes.

Day 12: Driving to Darjeeling, with a Visit to a Tea Estate En Route
Today, we bid farewell to the mountains as we drive back to Darjeeling. En route, we stop at a tea estate, where we learn about the art of tea cultivation and processing. Upon arrival in Darjeeling, the afternoon is yours to explore this historic hill station.

Day 13: Exploring Darjeeling, Departure to Siliguri for an Overnight Train to Calcutta
