Day 1: Embarking on Our Adventure in Delhi
As our group flight touches down in Delhi in the morning, Offbeat India Tours are warmly welcomed and escorted to our hotel. For those arranging their own flights, we eagerly await your arrival at the hotel throughout the day. Feel free to explore Delhi's vibrant streets or simply unwind after your journey. While rooms may not be ready until noon, they might be available sooner. Your group leader will be on hand to assist you with any needs.

Day 2: Flying to Bagdogra; Onward Journey to Gangtok
After breakfast, we head to the domestic airport terminal for our flight to Bagdogra. Upon arrival, we embark on a picturesque drive to Gangtok. Leaving behind the plains, we journey into the Doar Hills, crossing the Teesta River at Sevoke. Following border formalities at Rangpo, we enter the enchanting realm of Sikkim and continue our drive to Gangtok, nestled at an elevation of 1,680m. The scenic journey takes approximately 5 hours (125km).

Day 3: En Route to Martam Village with a Stop at Rumtek Monastery (1,400 M)
Today, after a delightful breakfast, we have the pleasure of exploring Gangtok. With clear views of Kanchenjunga, we can stroll along the Mall Road or explore the bustling indoor vegetable market. Later, we embark on a scenic drive to Rumtek Monastery, a serene spot founded centuries ago and rebuilt by the 16th Karmapa. Our journey then continues to Martam, a picturesque Himalayan village in East Sikkim.

Day 4: Discovering the Charms of Martam Village
Today is dedicated to immersing ourselves in the enchanting ambiance of Martam village. Known for its dairy production, we'll hike around the village, visiting notable landmarks like the Nyingma Institute, a quaint monastery, and the Krishna Mandir. After a delicious lunch, you're welcome to enjoy some leisure time at the hotel.

Day 5: Journeying to Darjeeling and Exploring the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute
Leaving behind the beauty of Sikkim, we embark on a scenic drive to Darjeeling, passing through breathtaking landscapes. Upon arrival, we delve into the history of this iconic hill station, once favored by the British Raj. Our exploration includes a visit to the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, where the legendary Tenzing Norgay trained many Sherpa climbers in mountaineering skills.

Day 6: Embarking on a Toy Train Ride; Trekking to Manedara via Rimbik
Today, we rise early to catch the sunrise views of Kanchenjunga before hopping aboard the charming Toy Train for a scenic ride to Ghoom, if it's running. From there, we drive to Rimbik and begin our trek to Manedara. Trekking through lush rhododendron forests, we're treated to breathtaking views of Kabru Dome and Kabru South peaks.

Day 7: Trekking to Gurdum Village (2,400M)
Our trek begins with a leisurely stroll through quaint villages and verdant fields. After a delightful 2-hour walk to Shepi village, we descend to the Gurdum Khola, crossing a bridge before ascending steeply to Gurdum village, our resting place for the night.

Day 8: Trekking to Chandu (3,570 M) via Sandakhphu (3,636 M)
Today, we embark on a challenging yet rewarding trek to the majestic Singalila Ridge, reaching the lofty Sandakhphu, the highest point of our journey. With panoramic views of Kanchenjunga, Everest, Lhotse, and Makalu, we trek to Chandu, where our campsite awaits.

Day 9: Trekking along the Singalila Ridge to Sabargam
Embarking on a scenic trek along the Singalila Ridge, we traverse the border between Nepal and India, relishing panoramic views of the Himalayas. As we camp at Sabargam, we're treated to a mesmerizing sunset and sunrise over the majestic peaks.

Day 10: Trekking to Phalut and Descending to Samaden
Today, we trek along an undulating trail to Phalut, savoring breathtaking views of Kanchenjunga and the Everest range. Descending to Samaden, we camp amidst enchanting forest landscapes, surrounded by nature's splendor.

Day 11: Trekking to Rimbik via Picturesque Settlements
Our final trek leads us through charming settlements inhabited by warm-hearted locals. Passing through terraced fields and quaint villages, we make our way to Rimbik, a serene Sherpa village nestled amidst the lush forest landscapes.

Day 12: Driving to Darjeeling, with a Visit to a Tea Estate En Route
Today, we bid farewell to the mountains as we drive back to Darjeeling. En route, we stop at a tea estate, where we learn about the art of tea cultivation and processing. Upon arrival in Darjeeling, the afternoon is yours to explore this historic hill station.

Day 13: Exploring Darjeeling, Departure to Siliguri for an Overnight Train to Calcutta
Spend the morning exploring Darjeeling's quaint streets or catching any sights you might have missed. In the afternoon, we drive to Siliguri, where we board the overnight train to Calcutta.

Day 14: Arrival in Calcutta; Free Time for Exploration
Arriving in Calcutta early morning, we have the entire day to explore the city's captivating sights, sounds, and flavors. Optional guided city tours are available for those interested in delving deeper into Calcutta's rich cultural tapestry.

Day 15: Conclusion of Our Enchanting Journey in Calcutta
For those on the flight inclusive package, today marks the departure for London. Land Only arrangements conclude after check-out from the hotel, bidding farewell to the memories we've cherished throughout our journey.
