Day 01: Arrive in Shimla
Arrive at Kalka railway station and embark on the iconic Kalka-Shimla Toy Train, winding through the hills and 103 tunnels—an architectural wonder and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Upon arrival at Shimla station, transfer to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02: Shimla – Jalori Pass – Tirthan Valley (200 km/7-8 hrs)
After breakfast, we gather for a briefing and get acquainted with our ride for the journey—The Royal Enfield. We leave Shimla, riding along the Satluj Valley on the historic Hindustan-Tibet road, enjoying spectacular Himalayan vistas. After crossing the Satluj River at Sainj, we ascend to Jalori Pass (3,120 m), stopping for tea at a local stall. From here, we descend into the serene Tirthan Valley, following the river. Overnight stay at a hotel by the river.
Day 03: Tirthan – Manali (110 km/3 hrs)
Following breakfast, we ride along the Tirthan River until we reach Aut. Passing through a 3 km tunnel, we enter the lush Kullu Valley. We stop at a local shawl factory before visiting Naggar Castle and the Roerich Art Gallery. After exploring the 500-year-old capital of Kullu, we continue to Manali. Check-in and overnight at a hotel.
Day 04: Manali – Atal Tunnel – Jispa (100 km/4 hrs)
Today’s ride takes us through Solang Valley and the impressive Atal Rohtang Tunnel (3,000 m), the longest tunnel in the world at this altitude. We enter the Lahaul Valley, following the Chandra River, passing through Tandi, Keylong, and Gemur villages before arriving in Jispa. Overnight stay in tents.
Day 05: Jispa – Baralacha La Pass – Sarchu (85 km/4 hrs)
After breakfast, we ride towards Sarchu, crossing Darcha and the Baralacha La Pass (4,800 m). Upon arrival, check-in at the camp. The evening is free to explore the breathtaking landscape of Sarchu. Overnight in camp.
Day 06: Sarchu – Tsokhar (122 km/5 hrs)
Today’s ride takes us across two high-altitude passes: Naki La (4,800 m) and Lachung La (5,065 m). We cross the expansive More Plains before reaching Tsokhar. This stunning high-altitude lake, located at 4,520 m, is a bird sanctuary and home to the endangered black-necked crane. Explore the Tsokhar village and its surroundings. Overnight in tents.
Day 07: Tsokhar – Leh (150 km/4-5 hrs)
After breakfast, we ascend the mighty Tanglang La Pass (5,328 m) and then descend into the Indus Valley. We continue our journey along the Indus River, arriving in Leh by the afternoon. Check-in at the hotel and enjoy a free evening to explore Leh Market or visit the Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 08: Explore Leh on Royal Enfields
Today’s ride takes us to Nimo, where the Zanskar and Indus Rivers meet. On the way back, we stop at Magnetic Hill, the revered Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, and Spituk Monastery. Return to Leh for an overnight stay.
Day 09: Leh – Nubra Valley via Khardung La (130 km/6 hrs)
After breakfast, we begin our ride over the famed Khardung La (5,600 m), once considered the highest motorable pass in the world. We then descend into the stunning Nubra Valley, with opportunities to ride camels at the sand dunes of Hunder, home to the double-humped Bactrian camel. Evening visit to Hunder village. Overnight in camp.
Day 10: Nubra Valley – Shyok River – Pangong Lake (140 km/5 hrs)
Today's ride follows the Shyok River, leading us to the breathtaking Pangong Lake (4,250 m), the world’s highest saltwater lake shared by India and China. Enjoy the serene beauty of the lake, and overnight in camp.
Day 11: Pangong – Thiksey Monastery – Shey Palace – Leh (160 km/7 hrs)
After breakfast, we ride back to Leh, crossing Chang La (5,160 m). Along the way, we stop at the renowned Thiksey Monastery and the historic Shey Palace. Arrive in Leh for a relaxed evening. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 12: Depart from Leh
Transfer to Leh airport in time for your flight back to Delhi.
