Day 1: Arrival in Chennai
Upon arrival in Chennai, meet our representative who will assist you with a smooth transfer to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Chennai
On the second day of the tour, leave your hotel for a city tour. Fondly known as the ‘Gateway of the South,’ Chennai is home to a number of tourist attractions. The sightseeing list includes the Theosophical Society, Sri Parthasarathy Temple, Kalakshetra, St. Mary's Church, Kapaliswara Temple, San Thome Cathedral Basilica, Mylapore, and Fort St. George, which houses the Secretariat and Legislative Assembly of Tamil Nadu. The evening is at leisure. Stay overnight.

Day 3: Chennai – Kanchipuram – Mahabalipuram
On the third day, leave for Kanchipuram by road. Around 70 km west of Mahabalipuram, Kanchipuram is referred to as one of the seven sacred cities of Hinduism. Both of these places are highlights of our Tamil Nadu temple tour itinerary. The Chola capital during the 2nd century, Kanchipuram is now an important center for learning about Jainism, Hinduism, and Buddhism.You may visit the city's popular temples such as Kamakshi Amman Temple and Ekambareswarar Temple. Also, visit the silk weavers who have been residing here for the past four centuries. Thereafter, continue towards Mahabalipuram. On arrival, complete the check-in formalities at the hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 4: Mahabalipuram
The fourth day is scheduled for sightseeing in Mahabalipuram, also known as Mamallapuram. It was the ancient port of the Pallava rulers, who constructed a number of architectural marvels such as caves, sculptural panels, temples, and monolithic rathas during their reign.

Today's attractions include Krishna Mandapam, dedicated to Lord Krishna, and the world's largest cave-cut Hindu temple. The walls of this temple feature several figures, including those of Lord Krishna, humans, birds, and demi-gods.

The other attractions will be the Shore Temple, dating back to the 8th century and one of the finest examples of Dravidian-style architecture, and the Five (Paanch) Rathas, also called the Pandava Rathas, which are a group of five monolithic temples, each erected in a different architectural style. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Mahabalipuram - Pondicherry
Today, get an assisted transfer to Pondicherry by car. On arrival, check into the hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to partake in activities of your interest.You can interact with the locals, relish sumptuous local delicacies, explore the surroundings on your own, visit the local market, and more. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 6: Pondicherry
On the sixth day of the tour, get ready for sightseeing in Pondicherry. Today's attractions include the Sacred Heart Church, the Raj Niwas, and Sri Aurobindo Ashram. Apart from being a religious site, the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is an oriental specimen of Gothic-style architecture.

Raj Niwas is the official residence of the Lieutenant Governor of Pondicherry. The last attraction of the day is Sri Aurobindo Ashram, founded by Sri Aurobindo in 1926. This spiritual community is flocked by a huge number of visitors year-round. Stay overnight in Pondicherry.

Day 7: Pondicherry - Thanjavur (Tanjore)
Today, leave for Tanjore in the morning by car. En-route, halt at Chidambaram, a quaint town known as the seat of Lord Nataraja, the Cosmic Dancer. Visit Chidambaram Temple, which is spread across around 40 acres of land and is also known as Thillai Nataraja Temple, featuring a distinct structure with five sabhas. Thereafter, continue to Tanjore. On arrival, check into your pre-booked hotel. After some rest, enjoy sightseeing in Tanjore, including the well-known Brihadeeswarar Temple. Return to the hotel in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 8: Thanjavur - Trichy
The morning of the eighth day includes an assisted on-road transfer to Trichy or Tiruchirappalli. After reaching Trichy and completing the check-in formalities, you are free to spend the day as you like.

You can explore the surroundings and nearby attractions, visit the local market for souvenirs, interact with locals, relish tasty food, and more. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 9: Trichy
Spend the day visiting and exploring the prime attractions of Trichy. The first visit is to Srirangam, located around 5 km from Trichy, where you will visit the Sri Ranganathaswami Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu and boasting one of India's largest temple complexes. Your next visit is to the Tiruchirapalli Rock Fort, located on the banks of the River Kaveri. Stay overnight.

Day 10: Trichy - Madurai
On the tenth day, leave by road for Madurai, also known as the Athens of the East. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure, and you can partake in activities of your interest. Visit the local market for shopping and relishing local food, enjoy the hotel's facilities, interact with locals, and more. Overnight stay in Madurai.

Day 11: Madurai
The morning of the eleventh day is for visiting the prime attractions of Madurai, a city placed on the banks of the Vaigai River and around 2500 years old. Visit the splendid Meenakshi-Sundareswarar Temple, also known as Meenakshi Amman Temple, dedicated to Goddess Parvati (Meenakshi) and Lord Shiva (Sundareswarar). This magnificent temple comprises 14 gopurams, which enhance the beauty of this ancient holy place. The afternoon is at leisure. Attend the wonderful evening prayer ceremony at the Meenakshi Temple. Stay overnight in Madurai.

Day 12: Madurai - Rameshwaram - Madurai
Day twelve is scheduled for a day trip to Rameshwaram for darshan at the Rameshwaram Temple. According to history, the island and the temple got their names from the event when Lord Rama worshipped Lord Shiva to gain penance after killing Ravana and returning from Lanka. Return to the hotel in Madurai for an overnight stay.

Day 13: Madurai - Chennai
In the morning, get an assisted transfer to the railway station to board a train for Chennai. Upon arrival, get transferred to the hotel. Spend the rest of the time relaxing in your hotel room. Stay overnight.

Day 14: Departure from Chennai
Today is the last day of the tour. Get transferred to the airport to board your flight back home.
