Day 2: Pokhara to Dhampus via Phedi
After an energizing breakfast in Pokhara, we embark on a short drive to Phedi, the starting point of our trek. As we leave the comfort of our van behind, we prepare ourselves for the first challenging ascent of the journey.Our trek kicks off from Phedi, where a steep stone staircase cuts through lush rhododendron-covered hillsides. We start the climb with enthusiasm, ascending steadily through the forest. In about 1 to 2 hours, we reach lower Dhampus, surrounded by the serene beauty of terraced fields and quaint village homes.Continuing our gradual climb past terraced fields and small hamlets, we arrive at our lodge in Dhampus. From here, we are rewarded with breathtaking views of the Annapurna Range and the distinctive Machhapuchhre (Fishtail Mountain). After a hearty, included dinner, we settle in for a peaceful night in the mountains.
Day 3: Dhampus to Australian CampWake up to a stunning sunrise in Dhampus, with the morning light casting a golden hue over the peaks of the Annapurna Range. After breakfast, we embark on a short but scenic trek to our lunch stop.
