Day 1: Arrival in Kochi
Upon your arrival in Kochi, Offbeat India Tours extend a warm welcome and transfer you to the Hotel. For guests not on the group flight, independent arrangements can be made to reach the hotel. Take this evening to unwind and enjoy your leisure time.

Day 2: Journey to Munnar
Today marks the beginning of our journey to Munnar, a picturesque hill station nestled amidst Kerala's highest mountains. Enjoy the scenic drive of approximately 160km, taking around 6 hours, as we traverse through breathtaking landscapes and tea estates. Munnar, situated at about 1600m above sea level, promises serene lakes and captivating vistas.

Day 3: Exploring Munnar's Hills
After a delightful breakfast, we set out on an invigorating walk through old Munnar, meandering through tea plantations and ascending into the Seven Malai Hills. Optional visits to cardamom and coffee plantations await, along with the chance to explore the Tea Museum in the afternoon.

Day 4: Trekking in the Silent Valley
Embark on a scenic drive to the Silent Valley, passing through verdant tea estates and lush plantations. Trek through the tea plantations and ascend to the grasslands at approximately 1600m. Following lunch, continue your trek to our campsite at 2000m elevation, surrounded by awe-inspiring views.

Day 5: Summiting Meesapulimala Peak
Experience the thrill of trekking to Meesapulimala Peak (2630m), soaking in panoramic views from the summit. Afterward, descend back to our campsite at 2000m for a serene evening amidst nature's beauty.

Day 6: Trek to Yellapetty Village
Embark on a delightful trek through the thick forest land of Silent Valley, pine forests, and serene streams. After traversing grasslands and shola forests, arrive at Yellapetty Village and continue to our campsite at Oorkadu.

Day 7: Trek to Koviloor
Enjoy an easy trek to Koviloor village, passing through lush vegetable farming regions and picturesque tea plantations. Explore the tribal village of Vattavada, interact with the local community, and immerse yourself in the vibrant market atmosphere at Koviloor village.

Day 8: Trek Through Plantation Ridge, Transfer to Mundhan
Conclude your trek with a scenic walk through the plantation ridge, soaking in views of Koviloor village. After a hearty lunch, embark on a jeep ride to Mundhan, where we transfer to our hotel for a relaxing evening.

Day 9: Journey to Madurai
Bid farewell to the tranquil surroundings as we depart for Madurai, a city steeped in history and culture. Explore the iconic Sri Meenakshi Temple, an architectural marvel reflecting the city's rich heritage.

Day 10: Exploring Thekkady
Embark on a scenic drive to Thekkady, nestled amidst the breathtaking Western Ghats. Explore the Periyar National Park and unwind with a leisurely walk through spice gardens in the evening.

Day 11: Nature Walk and Boat Ride at Periyar Lake
Immerse yourself in nature with a morning walk through the tropical forest surrounding Periyar Lake. Opt for an afternoon boat ride on the lake to spot wildlife, including elephants, otters, and exotic birds.

Day 12: Houseboat Experience in Alleppey
Embark on an enchanting overnight stay aboard a traditional Keralan houseboat in Alleppey. Cruise along the tranquil backwaters, surrounded by lush greenery and village life.

Day 13: Homestay Experience on the Malabar Coast
Disembark from the houseboat and proceed to our homestay on the picturesque Malabar Coast. Relax on the pristine beach and explore the vibrant local fisherman's village.

Day 14: Return to Kochi
Return to Kochi for an afternoon sightseeing tour, visiting historical landmarks such as Mattancherry Palace and the Jewish synagogue. Opt for an optional Kathakali Dance Show in the evening.

Day 15: Departure from Kochi
As our journey comes to an end, guests on the group flight will have an early morning transfer to the airport. Others can depart from the hotel in Kochi at their convenience.
