Day 1: Arrive in Dharamshala
Upon arriving at Dharamshala Airport, meet your guide and transfer to your hotel. Dharamshala, specifically McLeodganj, is home to a vibrant Tibetan refugee community and serves as the residence of His Holiness, the Dalai Lama. Day 2: Dharamshala to Chamba (190 km / 6 hrs)
After breakfast, embark on a scenic ride down the Kangra Valley, before winding your way up through mountains and villages to the picturesque town of Chamba. Once a princely state, Chamba is known for its rich cultural heritage. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and visit the beautiful Laxmi Narayan Temple, followed by a leisurely walk around the local markets and charming streets.

Day 3: Chamba to Sach Pass to Killar (160 km / 8 hrs)
Today’s adventure begins early as you ride towards the remote Pangi Valley. Passing through the villages of Tissa and Bairagarh, you will ascend to the stunning Sach Pass at 4,414 meters, where the meadows are adorned with vibrant Himalayan wildflowers in July and August. After crossing the pass, descend into Pangi Valley, navigating a thrilling and often dangerous route that hugs the cliffs above the fast-flowing Chandra Bhaga River. Pangi Valley is one of the most isolated regions in the Himalayas, with basic infrastructure.

Day 4: Killar to Udaipur to Jispa (150 km / 6 hrs)
Prepare for an exhilarating ride along a road carved into the cliffs, famously known as “The Death Road.” Reach Udaipur, where you’ll visit the intricately carved wooden Mrikula Devi Temple, then continue your journey to Keylong, the largest town in Lahaul Valley. From here, ride along the Leh highway, passing the villages of Stingri and Gemur before arriving at Jispa.

Day 5: Jispa to Shinku La to Padum (160 km / 8 hrs)
Today’s route takes you into the mystical Zanskar Valley. Ascend the Shinku La Pass at 5,091 meters, descending to the valley floor flanked by majestic peaks. Ride along the Zanskar River, passing tiny villages as you make your way to Purne and onwards to Padum. This day’s ride offers dramatic landscapes, with towering mountains on both sides.

Day 6: Padum to Sirsir La to Lamayuru (160 km / 8 hrs)
Experience an epic day of riding through the Zanskar region, crossing several high-altitude passes including Zang La, Singe La (4,200 m), and Sirsir La (4,800 m). Pass by the villages of Hanupatta and Wanla before arriving at the ancient Lamayuru Monastery, one of the largest and most important monasteries in Ladakh.

Day 7: Lamayuru to Leh (150 km / 5 hrs)
After breakfast, explore the Lamayuru Monastery, perched on a hillside, with its iconic statue of Avalokiteshwara, the deity with a thousand arms. Following your visit, begin your ride through the stunning Sham Valley, arriving in the vibrant town of Leh. After checking in at your hotel, the rest of the day is free for you to explore the local market, visit Leh Palace, or simply relax.

Day 8: Explore Leh
Today is yours to unwind and explore at your leisure. You can choose to stroll through the town, visit the grand Hemis and Thiksey Monasteries, or take an adventurous ride up to Khardung La, one of the highest motorable roads in the world at 5,600 meters.

Day 9: Leh to Tanglang La to Sarchu (250 km / 7 hrs)
Today’s journey is nothing short of breathtaking as you ride along the Indus Valley to Upshi, then ascend towards the Tanglang La Pass at 5,328 meters. Traverse the vast Pang Plains before crossing over Lachung La (5,059 m) and Nakila (4,750 m) mountain passes.
End the day's thrilling ride at Sarchu, where you’ll spend the night in tents.

Day 10: Sarchu to Atal Tunnel to Manali (175 km / 5 hrs)
After breakfast, ride through the Baralacha La Pass at 4,800 meters, entering the beautiful Lahaul Valley. The route takes you through picturesque villages like Jispa, Keylong, Tandi, and Gondla. Cross the famous Atal Tunnel, the longest tunnel in the world at this altitude, and emerge into the scenic Solang Valley. Continue to Manali for your overnight stay, with time in the evening to explore the sights around town, including Hadimba Devi Temple and Old Manali Village.

Day 11: Manali to Tirthan Valley (110 km / 3-4 hrs)
This morning, ride to Naggar, once the capital of the Kullu Kingdom, and visit the ancient Naggar Castle. Continue through the Kullu Valley and after passing through the Aut Tunnel, enter the pristine Tirthan Valley. Follow the Tirthan River to your riverside accommodation, where you can relax or ride deeper into the valley to explore its scenic beauty and hidden villages. Overnight at a guesthouse.

Day 12: Tirthan to Dharamshala (165 km / 6 hrs)
Begin your day riding along the Tirthan River before rejoining the highway at Aut. Continue towards Dharamshala, stopping to visit the centuries-old Vaidyanath Temple at Baijnath and passing through tea gardens. Arrive in Dharamshala and check in at your hotel for your final night in the Himalayas.

Day 13: Depart Dharamshala
In time, transfer to Gaggal Airport for your flight back to Delhi. Alternatively, you can opt for an overnight Volvo coach journey back to Delhi.
