Day 1: Arrival in Delhi – Haridwar (242 km/4 hours)

Begin your Char Dham Yatra package with a drive from Delhi to Haridwar. On your way, complete your Biometric registration for the Yatra.

Upon reaching Haridwar, check into your hotel and rest for a while. In the evening, visit Har Ki Pauri to attend the grand Ganga Aarti on the banks of the Ganges. Return to the hotel for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 2: Drive from Haridwar to Barkot (177 km/5-6 hours)

This morning, depart for Barkot/Jankichatti. Barkot is a picturesque hill station located at the foot of Yamunotri. En route, visit the famous Kempty Falls in Mussoorie.

Upon arrival in Barkot, check into your hotel/camp. The rest of the day is free to relax and prepare for the Pahad (hill) Yatra to Yamunotri the next day. Dinner and overnight stay at Barkot.

Day 3: Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot

After breakfast, depart for Hanumanchatti (10 km) and Janki Chatti (5 km). From here, begin the 6 km trek to Yamunotri. You have the option to hire palki, ponies, or horses for the trek (at your own cost).

The trek passes through a lush green valley with conifers, rhododendrons, cacti, and various Himalayan shrubs. Yamunotri, at an altitude of 3,291 meters, is the westernmost shrine of the Char Dhams, nestled in the Bandarpunch range (6,361 m). It is the source of the Yamuna River.

Upon arrival in Yamunotri, take a holy dip in the Yamuna River and perform Pooja. Return via the same route to Barkot for dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel/camp.

Day 4: Drive from Barkot to Uttarkashi (82 km/3 hours)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel in Barkot and drive to Uttarkashi. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. Uttarkashi is situated on the banks of the Bhagirathi River and is known for its historical monuments, temples, and ashrams. In the evening, visit the famous Vishwanath Temple. Day 5: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (99 km/3-4 hours)

After an early breakfast, drive to Gangotri Dham, nestled in the magnificent Garhwal Himalayas at an altitude of 3,048 meters. Upon arrival, take a holy dip in the sacred Bhagirathi River and visit the Gangotri Temple, an 18th-century temple dedicated to Goddess Ganga. Day 6: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi (193 km/7 hours)

Leave for Guptkashi after breakfast. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. Guptkashi is 47 km from the holy shrine of Kedarnath and houses famous ancient temples like Vishwanath Temple and Ardhnarishwar Temple. Day 7: Guptkashi – Sonprayag – Kedarnath

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Sonprayag (30 km/1 hour). From Sonprayag, start your 20 km trek to Kedarnath Dham. You can hire a Doli, ponies, or horses for the trek (at your own cost).

Upon arrival, check into Govt. Camps/Lodges in Kedarnath and rest. Dinner and overnight stay at the camps/lodges.

Day 8: Kedarnath – Sonprayag – Guptkashi/Rudraprayag

Early in the morning, attend the 'Abhishek' ceremony at Kedarnath Temple. After Darshan and Pooja, return to the camps/lodges, check out, and start the return trek to Sonprayag. From Sonprayag, drive to your hotel in Guptkashi/Rudraprayag. Dinner and overnight stay in Guptkashi/Rudraprayag.

Day 9: Rudraprayag/Guptkashi – Joshimath – Badrinath (160 km/5-6 hours)
