Day 1: Paro - Thimphu, Bhutan

Explore the National Library, which houses ancient Bhutanese manuscripts and the world's largest book. At the Jungshi Handmade Paper Factory, discover the traditional art of making Deh-sho, Bhutanese paper crafted from the bark of local trees. You can even try your hand at making your own paper. Visit the Takin Preservation Centre to see Bhutan’s national animal before transferring back to Paro. Enjoy an evening at leisure, with an opportunity to shop and mingle with locals at Paro’s Clock Tower Square. Overnight in Paro.


Day 3: Paro, Bhutan
Today, journey to Chele La Pass, one of Bhutan’s highest motorable passes, adorned with colorful prayer flags and offering panoramic views. Stop at Kila Gompa, a sacred site for Buddhists. Enjoy the natural beauty along the Chele La ridge, known for its gardens of Himalayan flowers and unique bird species. Remember to carry extra water due to the high altitude. Return to Paro in the evening. Overnight in Paro.


Day 4: Paro, Bhutan
Explore Paro's rich spiritual heritage with a hike to the iconic Taktsang Monastery, or Tiger’s Nest, perched dramatically on a cliff 1,000 meters above the valley floor. Legend has it that Guru Rinpoche, a revered Buddhist figure, flew to this site on the back of a tigress. The hike to the viewpoint takes approximately 2.5 hours, and those wishing to get closer can continue uphill for an additional 45 minutes. Enjoy lunch at your hotel and spend the afternoon exploring Paro Bazaar. Overnight in Paro.


Day 5: Paro, Bhutan
