Day 2: Srinagar – Sonmarg
After a delightful breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Sonmarg—one of the most picturesque routes in Kashmir. Known as the "Meadow of Gold", Sonmarg is nestled at an altitude of 2,692 meters and offers enchanting views of snow-capped mountains, lush meadows, and glistening streams. The 85 km journey from Srinagar takes approximately 2 to 2.5 hours.
En route, enjoy the captivating beauty of the Sindh River, where adventurous souls may also indulge in river rafting (optional). At Sonmarg, you may opt for a pony ride (at your own cost) to explore the Thajiwas Glacier and the famous Zero Point via a local union vehicle (own cost), where snow remains throughout the year.

Day 3: Sonmarg – Gulmarg
After breakfast, head towards Gulmarg—renowned as the "Meadow of Flowers", situated at an elevation of 2,730 meters. The journey covers a distance of 127 km and takes around 3 to 3.5 hours. Gulmarg boasts some of the world’s best ski slopes and is home to the highest golf course with 18 holes (activities at your own cost).
Weather permitting, you may be treated to the majestic view of Nanga Parbat, towering over 26,000 feet. One of the highlights of Gulmarg is the Gondola Cable Car ride (own cost), the highest in Asia. It operates in two phases—from Gulmarg resort to Kongdoori Valley, and from there to Kongdoori Mountain near Afarwat Peak, at an altitude of 3,747 meters. You may also visit Drung Waterfall via Tangmarg using a union vehicle (own cost). Additionally, explore local handicrafts at the Kashmir Handicraft Emporium.

Day 4: Gulmarg – Pahalgam
Post breakfast, proceed towards Pahalgam, fondly known as the "Valley of Shepherds". The drive covers around 140 km and takes about 3 to 3.5 hours. On the way, stop to admire the saffron fields of Pampore and the ancient Awantipura Ruins—a 1100-year-old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, built by King Awantivarman.
Continue through the scenic countryside, passing by the Mattan Temple and charming apple orchards. Once in Pahalgam, enjoy the pristine views along the Lidder River. You may opt for a short excursion (own cost) with pony rides to popular spots such as Kashmir Valley, Baisaran Valley, and Dubin Valley. To explore Chandanwari, Betaab Valley, and Aru Valley, local union vehicles are available at your own expense.

Day 5: Pahalgam – Srinagar (Local Sightseeing + Houseboat Stay)
After breakfast, return to Srinagar and embark on a delightful local sightseeing tour. Visit the famous Mughal Gardens, including Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, Pari Mahal, Cheshmashahi, and the revered Shankaracharya Temple. Later in the day, experience a serene Shikara ride on the iconic Dal Lake (included for 1 hour), offering breathtaking views and a glimpse into Srinagar’s tranquil life on water.
