Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrive at Kathmandu airport, where you will be warmly welcomed by our representative who will assist you and transfer you to your hotel in the city. Day 2: Kathmandu Exploration

You’ll fly close to the majestic Himalayas, allowing for stunning views as you approach the iconic mountain.After the flight, return to your hotel for breakfast, then proceed to explore Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swayambhunath.

Kathmandu Durbar Square: This historic square, where kings were once crowned, is the heart of the old town, showcasing traditional architecture amid a vibrant cultural backdrop. Designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979, the square features palaces, temples, and courtyards, including the former Royal Elephant Stable, now a hub for souvenir stalls. Boudhanath: On the outskirts of Kathmandu lies one of the largest stupas in Nepal. Built on an ancient trade route from Tibet, Boudhanath is surrounded by numerous monasteries and was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979. As you make a kora (ritual circumambulation) around the stupa, you’ll be captivated by the sight of pilgrims and the calming ambiance created by the butter lamps and the scent of sage. Despite damage during the earthquake, the stupa has been restored and reopened to visitors.

Pashupatinath: This sacred temple complex, spanning 246 hectares, is more than just a religious site; it embodies the essence of Nepalese culture, art, and devotion. Designated a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site in 1979, Pashupatinath is an open museum where hundreds of rituals are performed daily.


Day 3: Patan and Bhaktapur

After breakfast, embark on a visit to Patan Durbar Square, located just 5 kilometers south of Kathmandu. Known as the city of artistry, Patan is home to a plethora of Buddhist and Hindu temples and boasts over 1,000 monuments featuring exquisite wood and stone carvings. Day 4: Flight to Paro, Bhutan

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to Kathmandu airport for your flight to Paro, Bhutan. Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and escorted to the capital city, Thimphu (approximately 54 kilometers, 1 hour by car).On a clear day, the flight to Paro offers breathtaking views of major Himalayan peaks, including Everest and Kanchenjunga, culminating in stunning views of Bhutan’s sacred mountains like Jhomolhari and Jichu Drake.After completing airport formalities, you will drive from Paro to Thimphu. Day 5: Sightseeing in Thimphu Valley

The site provides unobstructed views of the capital and surrounding valley.Next, visit the National Memorial Chorten, a monument to peace envisioned by Bhutan’s third king, His Majesty Jigme Dorji Wangchuck. Completed in 1974, it serves as a memorial and a place of worship.Proceed to the National Institute for Zorig Chusum to observe students learning the 13 traditional arts and crafts of Bhutan. Then, head to the Royal Textile Academy of Bhutan, a state-of-the-art museum showcasing Bhutanese weaving and textiles, including the bridal dress worn by Her Majesty Queen Jetsun Pema during the royal wedding in 2011.Visit the Zilukha Nunnery, home to around 60 nuns. Day 6: Paro

It boasts some of Bhutan's oldest temples and monasteries, and it's also home to the nation’s only airport. Dominating the northern skyline is Mt. Jhomolhari (7,300 m), its majestic snow-capped peak casting glacial waters into deep gorges, which form the Pa Chu (Paro River). Paro is one of Bhutan’s most fertile valleys, known for its terraced fields that produce the kingdom's renowned red rice.

 


Day 7: Paro 

Following an early breakfast, visit Kichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan's oldest temples. Constructed in the 7th century by Tibetan King Songtsen Gampo, this sacred site was part of the 108 temples built to subdue a demoness, marking the introduction of Buddhism to Bhutan.Next, head to the National Museum of Bhutan, a proud showcase of the nation’s heritage. With six floors filled with art, traditions, and history, the museum features a collection of paintings, animal masks, and more. Originally a watchtower built in 1649, it was transformed into the National Museum in 1968, safeguarding Bhutan’s rich history.In the afternoon, visit a local farmhouse for an immersive cooking demonstration and tasting. Day 8: Paro

This trek is renowned for its breathtaking elevation and dramatic scenery, challenging yet rewarding for most travelers.A 30-minute drive takes you to the hike's starting point, where you'll begin your ascent at a gradual pace to acclimatize to the altitude (600-700 meters above the valley floor). In about an hour, you'll reach the cafeteria located 3 km up. Here, take a moment to rest and savor refreshments before continuing your ascent for another 3 km to the temple. The first part of the journey is steep, becoming easier as you approach the final viewpoint before descending into the temple area.After exploring the temple, return to the cafeteria for lunch. The entire trek will take around 2-3 hours, covering approximately 12 km in total. If you prefer, you can arrange for a horse ride to ease the uphill climb, but please inform your guide in advance.


Day 9: New Delhi 

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and transfer to Paro Airport for your flight to New Delhi. Upon arrival at Delhi International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative, who will assist with your transfers and hotel check-in. Day 10: New Delhi

You can opt for an elephant or jeep ride to reach the fort (note that elephant rides are available only until 11:00 AM).Next, head to Jantar Mantar, the world's largest stone astronomical observatory, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built by Raja Sawai Jai Singh between 1727 and 1733. Day 19: Dambulla 

Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage
After an early breakfast, check out and embark on your journey to Pinnawala, located approximately 88 km from Colombo, which takes around 2.5 hours. Pinnawala is renowned for its elephant orphanage, established to care for abandoned and orphaned elephants. Spend quality time observing these majestic creatures, particularly during their feeding time (9:15-9:45 AM and 2:15-2:45 PM) and bathing time (10:00-11:00 AM and 3:00-4:00 PM) at the nearby river.

Travel to Habarana
After your visit, proceed to Habarana and check in to your hotel. The travel distance from Pinnawala to Habarana is approximately 100 km, taking about 3 hours.


Day 20: Dambulla 

Sigiriya Rock Climb
Start your day with breakfast before departing for Sigiriya Rock, located about 16 km from Dambulla, which takes approximately 30 minutes. Sigiriya, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is a 5th-century archaeological wonder that was once a royal citadel. It features a stunning moat, ramparts, and exquisite gardens, including the famed water gardens.

Explore Polonnaruwa
Following your ascent of Sigiriya, travel to Polonnaruwa, the second capital of Sri Lanka, situated 67 km away, approximately a 2-hour journey. Explore this UNESCO World Heritage site, where you can witness the ruins of the Royal Palace, the impressive Gal Viharaya with its three remarkable Buddha statues, and the ancient audience hall and lotus bath. Day 21: Dambulla

Afternoon visit to Minneriya National Park.
Get ready for an exhilarating Jeep Safari at Minneriya National Park, a sanctuary sprawling over 8,800 hectares and renowned for its majestic elephant gatherings. Park your jeep near the reservoir and watch as herds of elephants gracefully approach the grassy banks to feed. This park hosts one of the largest elephant gatherings in the world, attracting wildlife enthusiasts from all over.


Day 22: Kandy 

After breakfast, check-out and drive to Kandy.
On your journey, stop at the Matale Spice Garden, where you’ll discover the therapeutic values of spices while enjoying a refreshing cup of herbal tea. Matale is known for its contributions to the island’s agricultural landscape, especially its spices.

Proceed to Kandy.
Arrive in Kandy and check into your hotel, with standard check-in time at 12:00 PM. Day 26: Bentota

Bentota is a picturesque coastal town in Sri Lanka, with its name derived from a local legend about a demon named 'Bem' who ruled the riverbank. This vibrant destination is known for its stunning beaches and serves as a hub for water sports. With a local airport and a selection of world-class hotels, Bentota also offers the ancient healing practice of Ayurveda and is renowned for its toddy production—an alcoholic beverage crafted from coconut nectar. Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrive at Kathmandu airport, where you will be warmly welcomed by our representative who will assist you and transfer you to your hotel in the city. After checking in, you’ll have the rest of the day to relax at your leisure.The Kathmandu Valley spans 360 square kilometers and sits at an altitude of 1,336 meters above sea level. This exotic destination showcases a rich tapestry of culture, art, and traditions. As the political, commercial, and cultural heart of Nepal, Kathmandu stretches 24 kilometers from east to west and 19 kilometers from north to south. The city is enveloped by lush green hills and terraced fields, with rooftops of red-tiled houses dotting the landscape. Home to various ethnic groups, particularly the Newars, Kathmandu possesses a unique cultural identity. Legend has it that the valley was once submerged underwater until the Bodhisattva Manjushri planted his sword in the lake, causing it to dry up for the first inhabitants to settle.


Day 2: Kathmandu Exploration

Start your day with a breathtaking mountain flight experience. You’ll fly close to the majestic Himalayas, allowing for stunning views as you approach the iconic mountain.After the flight, return to your hotel for breakfast, then proceed to explore Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swayambhunath.

Kathmandu Durbar Square: This historic square, where kings were once crowned, is the heart of the old town, showcasing traditional architecture amid a vibrant cultural backdrop. Designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979, the square features palaces, temples, and courtyards, including the former Royal Elephant Stable, now a hub for souvenir stalls. The southern end is home to the Temple of the Living Goddess, Kumari, who is chosen through a mystical selection process from the Newar community. Over 2,500 years old, Swayambhunath is known as the “Self-Created One.” The stupa features Buddha’s eyes painted on each side, symbolizing wisdom and compassion. Visitors can access the stupa via a steep stairway of 365 steps or a longer road from the southwest entrance, both leading to stunning valley views.

Boudhanath: On the outskirts of Kathmandu lies one of the largest stupas in Nepal. Built on an ancient trade route from Tibet, Boudhanath is surrounded by numerous monasteries and was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979. As you make a kora (ritual circumambulation) around the stupa, you’ll be captivated by the sight of pilgrims and the calming ambiance created by the butter lamps and the scent of sage. Despite damage during the earthquake, the stupa has been restored and reopened to visitors.

Pashupatinath: This sacred temple complex, spanning 246 hectares, is more than just a religious site; it embodies the essence of Nepalese culture, art, and devotion. Designated a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site in 1979, Pashupatinath is an open museum where hundreds of rituals are performed daily.


Day 3: Patan and Bhaktapur

After breakfast, embark on a visit to Patan Durbar Square, located just 5 kilometers south of Kathmandu. Known as the city of artistry, Patan is home to a plethora of Buddhist and Hindu temples and boasts over 1,000 monuments featuring exquisite wood and stone carvings. The square is a blend of the old Royal Palace, artistic courtyards, and pagoda temples, with the former royal palace now functioning as a museum. Day 4: Flight to Paro, Bhutan

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to Kathmandu airport for your flight to Paro, Bhutan. Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and escorted to the capital city, Thimphu (approximately 54 kilometers, 1 hour by car).On a clear day, the flight to Paro offers breathtaking views of major Himalayan peaks, including Everest and Kanchenjunga, culminating in stunning views of Bhutan’s sacred mountains like Jhomolhari and Jichu Drake.After completing airport formalities, you will drive from Paro to Thimphu. Known for its unique charm, Thimphu serves as the seat of government and houses Bhutan's royal family, civil service, and foreign missions.


Day 5: Sightseeing in Thimphu Valley

Today is dedicated to exploring the Thimphu valley with a full day of sightseeing. Begin with a visit to the Buddha Dordenma statue, one of the tallest Buddha statues in Asia (51.5 meters). The site provides unobstructed views of the capital and surrounding valley.Next, visit the National Memorial Chorten, a monument to peace envisioned by Bhutan’s third king, His Majesty Jigme Dorji Wangchuck. Completed in 1974, it serves as a memorial and a place of worship.Proceed to the National Institute for Zorig Chusum to observe students learning the 13 traditional arts and crafts of Bhutan. Then, head to the Royal Textile Academy of Bhutan, a state-of-the-art museum showcasing Bhutanese weaving and textiles, including the bridal dress worn by Her Majesty Queen Jetsun Pema during the royal wedding in 2011.Visit the Zilukha Nunnery, home to around 60 nuns. Its tranquil atmosphere offers a peaceful escape and stunning views of Tashichho Dzong.Explore Tashichho Dzong, the “fortress of the glorious religion,” originally built in 1641 and later rebuilt in the 1960s. It houses various ministries and the central monk body, with visitor access during certain festivals and when the monk body is in residence.If time permits, visit the Weekend Market, where locals converge to sell food, crafts, and more, offering great opportunities for photography and interaction with residents.

Day 6: Paro 

After a hearty breakfast, check out from your hotel and set off for Paro (54 km – approximately 1 hour by car). This picturesque valley is a tapestry of rich culture and stunning landscapes, steeped in myths and legends. It boasts some of Bhutan's oldest temples and monasteries, and it's also home to the nation’s only airport. Dominating the northern skyline is Mt. Jhomolhari (7,300 m), its majestic snow-capped peak casting glacial waters into deep gorges, which form the Pa Chu (Paro River). Paro is one of Bhutan’s most fertile valleys, known for its terraced fields that produce the kingdom's renowned red rice.

 


Day 7: Paro 

Following an early breakfast, visit Kichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan's oldest temples. Constructed in the 7th century by Tibetan King Songtsen Gampo, this sacred site was part of the 108 temples built to subdue a demoness, marking the introduction of Buddhism to Bhutan.Next, head to the National Museum of Bhutan, a proud showcase of the nation’s heritage. With six floors filled with art, traditions, and history, the museum features a collection of paintings, animal masks, and more. Originally a watchtower built in 1649, it was transformed into the National Museum in 1968, safeguarding Bhutan’s rich history.In the afternoon, visit a local farmhouse for an immersive cooking demonstration and tasting. Join the family in preparing traditional dishes, including ema datsi (chili cheese) and red rice pancakes, accompanied by yak-butter tea and homemade liquors like fiery arra. After lunch, engage in daily farm activities, giving you a glimpse into the authentic Bhutanese lifestyle, where over 85% of the population still practices subsistence farming.Later, visit Rinpung Dzong, an architectural marvel also known as the Paro Dzong. Day 8: Paro 

Start your morning with a hike to Taktsang Monastery, commonly known as Tiger's Nest. This trek is renowned for its breathtaking elevation and dramatic scenery, challenging yet rewarding for most travelers.A 30-minute drive takes you to the hike's starting point, where you'll begin your ascent at a gradual pace to acclimatize to the altitude (600-700 meters above the valley floor). In about an hour, you'll reach the cafeteria located 3 km up. Here, take a moment to rest and savor refreshments before continuing your ascent for another 3 km to the temple. The first part of the journey is steep, becoming easier as you approach the final viewpoint before descending into the temple area.After exploring the temple, return to the cafeteria for lunch. The entire trek will take around 2-3 hours, covering approximately 12 km in total. If you prefer, you can arrange for a horse ride to ease the uphill climb, but please inform your guide in advance.


Day 9: New Delhi 

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and transfer to Paro Airport for your flight to New Delhi. Upon arrival at Delhi International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative, who will assist with your transfers and hotel check-in. Complete the check-in process and spend the remainder of the day at your leisure (standard check-in time is 2:00 PM; early check-in is subject to availability).


Day 10: New Delhi

Day 14: Jaipur 
After breakfast, set out for a full day of sightseeing in Jaipur with your guide. First, visit Amber Fort, one of India's most magnificent palaces, featuring a maze of passages and serpentine staircases. Built in 1592 by Maharaja Man Singh I, this fort served as the primary residence for Rajput rulers. You can opt for an elephant or jeep ride to reach the fort (note that elephant rides are available only until 11:00 AM).Next, head to Jantar Mantar, the world's largest stone astronomical observatory, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built by Raja Sawai Jai Singh between 1727 and 1733. Its massive instruments were designed to study celestial bodies.Continue to the City Palace and Museum, constructed between 1729 and 1732, which served as the royal residence. The palace complex features courtyards, gardens, and museums showcasing the rich heritage of Jaipur. Stop for photos at Hawa Mahal, built in 1799, known for its unique façade that allowed royal women to observe street festivities without being seen. Day 15: Cochin 
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to Jaipur Airport for your flight to Cochin. Day 16: Cochin 
Start your day with an early morning visit to the picturesque Fisherman’s Beach. After breakfast, embark on a guided sightseeing tour of Kochi. Please note that the city's monuments are closed on Fridays.Next, head to the Jewish Synagogue, also known as the Cochin Jewish Synagogue or Mattancherry Synagogue. Constructed in 1567, it is the oldest active synagogue in Kochi and among the oldest in the Commonwealth of Nations. It is located in the historical Jew Town area of Kochi. (Note: The synagogue is closed on Fridays and Saturdays.)

Explore Fort Kochi

Day 19: Dambulla 

Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage
After an early breakfast, check out and embark on your journey to Pinnawala, located approximately 88 km from Colombo, which takes around 2.5 hours. Pinnawala is renowned for its elephant orphanage, established to care for abandoned and orphaned elephants. Spend quality time observing these majestic creatures, particularly during their feeding time (9:15-9:45 AM and 2:15-2:45 PM) and bathing time (10:00-11:00 AM and 3:00-4:00 PM) at the nearby river.

Travel to Habarana
After your visit, proceed to Habarana and check in to your hotel. The travel distance from Pinnawala to Habarana is approximately 100 km, taking about 3 hours.


Day 20: Dambulla 

Sigiriya Rock Climb
Start your day with breakfast before departing for Sigiriya Rock, located about 16 km from Dambulla, which takes approximately 30 minutes. Sigiriya, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is a 5th-century archaeological wonder that was once a royal citadel. It features a stunning moat, ramparts, and exquisite gardens, including the famed water gardens.

Explore Polonnaruwa
Following your ascent of Sigiriya, travel to Polonnaruwa, the second capital of Sri Lanka, situated 67 km away, approximately a 2-hour journey. Explore this UNESCO World Heritage site, where you can witness the ruins of the Royal Palace, the impressive Gal Viharaya with its three remarkable Buddha statues, and the ancient audience hall and lotus bath. You will also find the remains of significant temples, including the Lankatileka and Kiri Vihare Dagoba. After an enriching day of sightseeing, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

 

Day 21: Dambulla

Afternoon visit to Minneriya National Park.
Get ready for an exhilarating Jeep Safari at Minneriya National Park, a sanctuary sprawling over 8,800 hectares and renowned for its majestic elephant gatherings. Park your jeep near the reservoir and watch as herds of elephants gracefully approach the grassy banks to feed. This park hosts one of the largest elephant gatherings in the world, attracting wildlife enthusiasts from all over.


Day 22: Kandy 

After breakfast, check-out and drive to Kandy.
On your journey, stop at the Matale Spice Garden, where you’ll discover the therapeutic values of spices while enjoying a refreshing cup of herbal tea. Matale is known for its contributions to the island’s agricultural landscape, especially its spices.

Proceed to Kandy.
Arrive in Kandy and check into your hotel, with standard check-in time at 12:00 PM. Later, visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic, one of the most sacred sites in Buddhism, and enjoy a brief tour of the charming Kandy town. Day 25: Day Hike to Horton Plains 

Early morning transfer to Horton Plains National Park.
This pristine park, located about 31 km from Nuwara Eliya, is recognized for its unique biodiversity and stunning landscapes. Known as Mahaeliya, Horton Plains became a Nature Reserve in 1969 and was designated a National Park in 1988.Here, you’ll find diverse flora and a variety of wildlife, including Sambhur, Bear Monkeys, and several bird species. Visitors can explore the park on foot, taking designated tracks to fully appreciate the beauty of this unique ecosystem.

Day 26: Bentota 

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Bentota.
Traveling approximately 221 km, this journey will take about 6 hours. Bentota is a picturesque coastal town in Sri Lanka, with its name derived from a local legend about a demon named 'Bem' who ruled the riverbank. This vibrant destination is known for its stunning beaches and serves as a hub for water sports. Day 28: Colombo 

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Colombo International Airport.
