Day 02: Cochin
Upon your arrival, a representative will greet you and escort you to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is yours to relax or explore at your leisure. Cochin, a bustling port since the 14th century, is famous for its cantilevered Chinese fishing nets and rich history. Day 03: Cochin
After enjoying a hearty breakfast, you’ll spend Day 3 exploring the colonial heart of Cochin. Begin your journey at the St. Francis Church, then make your way to the stunning Santa Cruz Basilica. Day 04: Cochin – Kodikulam
Following a delicious breakfast, you will depart Cochin for a scenic three-hour drive to Kodikulam. Upon arrival, you’ll check into a traditional homestay. Nestled in the Idukki district of Kerala, Kodikulam is known for its rubber plantations, enchanting spice gardens, and notable temples, including Sri Chandrapillil Devi Kshetram, Anchakulam Bhagavathy Temple, and Thrikkovil Subhramania Temple. Spend the day exploring the area, engaging in activities, or taking a refreshing swim in the river. Overnight stay at the homestay.
Day 05: Kodikulam
Enjoy a healthy breakfast before spending the day at your leisure in Kodikulam. You can partake in various activities such as cycling, visiting local temples, learning the art of honey extraction, or even milking a cow! Choose your own adventures for a fun-filled day. Day 06: Kodikulam – Munnar
After breakfast, depart for Munnar, located in the Western Ghats, with a scenic three-hour drive. Keep an eye out for beautiful waterfalls along the way. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel, where our representative will assist you. Munnar, a charming hill station once favored by British elite, is home to Eravikulam National Park, Blossom International Park, and the Tea Museum. You’ll have the rest of the day to relax, take a leisurely stroll, or enjoy bird watching and butterfly spotting. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 07: Munnar
Start your day with a nourishing breakfast before heading out for a trek through the stunning mountains surrounding Munnar, guided by a knowledgeable local. This trek will allow you to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the area. After your trek, you can unwind or continue exploring. Keep your evening free to visit the local markets. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 08: Munnar
After breakfast, engage in local activities, enjoy a tea tasting session, or simply relax indoors. In the afternoon, take a four-hour drive to Periyar National Park, where you’ll check into your hotel upon arrival. The park is home to a diverse range of endangered flora and fauna, including over 171 species of grass, 140 species of orchids, and around 35 species of mammals. In 2017, the park was noted for its population of Bengal Tigers, along with Indian elephants, white tigers, gaur, sambar, and more. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 09: Munnar - Alleppey
Begin your day with breakfast and either embark on a jungle walk with a local ranger or join a small group tour with fellow guests. This excursion, lasting 3 to 4 hours, will expose you to various species of wildlife, plants, and birds. Afterward, travel to Alleppey, where you’ll spend the night aboard a houseboat, drifting along the serene backwaters of Kerala. Day 10: Onam Festival
Awake in the tranquility of the houseboat and savor a hearty breakfast before immersing yourself in the festivities of Onam. This vibrant festival is one of Kerala’s most significant celebrations, lasting for ten days during the Malayalam month of Chingam. Onam symbolizes the homecoming of the beloved King Mahabali and marks the harvest season. With colorful flower arrangements, traditional games, and extravagant feasts, Onam is an experience not to be missed. Overnight stay on the houseboat.
Day 11: Alleppey – Marari
After breakfast, depart Alleppey for Marari Beach, where you’ll spend your final two days. Upon arrival, you’ll check into your accommodation and have the rest of the day free to relax. Whether you prefer lounging indoors or strolling along the tranquil beach, the choice is yours. Located just 11 kilometers from Alappuzha town, Marari Beach is renowned for its serenity, making it the perfect spot for relaxation.
