Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing
After breakfast, embark on a city tour that beautifully narrates India's rich history. Begin with a visit to Old Delhi, established by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1639 AD. Your first stop is Raj Ghat, the memorial for Mahatma Gandhi, followed by the majestic Red Fort, which served as the Mughal emperors' primary residence for nearly 200 years. Explore the bustling market of Chandni Chowk, where you can opt for a rickshaw ride to experience the lively atmosphere and vibrant shops.Next, visit the Jama Masjid, one of India’s largest and most iconic mosques, constructed by Shah Jahan between 1644 and 1656. Marvel at its impressive architecture, including three grand gates and two towering minarets.Continue your tour to India Gate, a war memorial honoring the Unknown Soldier, then drive past significant landmarks like the Parliament House and the President’s House. Day 03: Delhi to Agra

Day 05: Delhi to Varanasi by Flight
Enjoy breakfast before being transferred to the airport for your flight to Varanasi. Upon arrival, you'll proceed directly to Allahabad to experience the grandeur of the Kumbh Mela, staying in the luxurious tented city set up for this remarkable event.
Day 06: Kumbh Mela – Allahabad
After breakfast, immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of the Kumbh Mela, one of the largest mass Hindu pilgrimages. You’ll visit the Sangam, the sacred confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati rivers.Held every 12 years, Kumbh Mela is a time of spiritual significance. On the first day, observe the rituals performed by the sadhus, who are members of various akharas. Watch as they take ceremonial dips in the holy waters and engage in various sacred practices before returning to the tented city to relax for the evening.
Day 07: Kumbh Mela – Allahabad
Awake early for breakfast and prepare to witness one of the Kumbh Mela's highlights—the Peshwai Procession, which marks the arrival of the sadhus. Dressed in saffron and adorned with sacred ashes, these holy men, including the iconic nagas who may go unclothed even in winter, display their impressive martial skills and acrobatic feats during the procession.Various sects participate in the event, including the Nagas, Kalpwasis, and Urdhawavahurs, each performing sacred rituals reflective of their beliefs. Capture the vibrant scenes on camera, ensuring a lifetime of memories. Return to your tent for an overnight stay.
Day 08: Kumbh Mela – Allahabad
This day, consider taking a dip in the holy waters at the Sangam. This transformative experience is believed to wash away sins and bring devotees closer to salvation, especially during Kumbh Mela when the waters are thought to turn into nectar. The auspicious dates for the festival are calculated based on specific zodiac alignments of Jupiter, the Sun, and the Moon. Enjoy another overnight stay in Allahabad.
Day 09: Kumbh Mela – Allahabad
Dedicate this day to darshan, a sacred visual exchange with the sadhus, which is a significant aspect of the Kumbh Mela. Pilgrims gather to witness and participate in both the religious and cultural facets of this grand event. Sadhus are present to offer spiritual guidance, allowing worshipers to interact with them and gain insight into their spiritual practices.Darshan is centered around the visual exchange with deities, providing devotees a chance to "drink" in divine blessings. The Kumbh Mela features various camps, facilitating this interaction, and worshipers often leave tokens as offerings.
Day 10: Allahabad to Varanasi by Road
After breakfast, depart Allahabad for a scenic drive to Varanasi. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and unwind for the rest of the day. Consider exploring the nearby streets via rickshaw for shopping and local dining options.
Day 11: Historical Varanasi Monuments
Begin your day with a serene boat ride along the Ganges, visiting the sacred ghats of Manikarnika and Harishchandra. These ghats are significant for their spiritual rituals, including cremation, where it is believed that Hindus who pass away in Varanasi are released from the cycle of rebirth.As you navigate the ghats, you may witness funeral pyres and observe the rituals taking place. In the afternoon, visit Sarnath, a revered site where Buddha delivered his first sermon. Afterward, you will be transferred to the railway station for your overnight train journey back to Delhi.
Day 12: Varanasi to Delhi by Flight
Arrive in Delhi and spend your final moments at the airport, preparing for your return or onward journey.
